Biography: 

I study the literature and culture of eighteenth-century America and the early United States. My dissertation, "Found among the Papers of the Early Republic," explores the papers that individuals, families, and institutions amassed and saved in early America. I've served as a teaching assistant for courses on Shakespeare's histories and comedies, the history and theory of drama, and literary theory. In the fall of 2014, I will be teaching a course on reading in the nineteenth-century U.S. I am also one of the student coordinators for the American Literatures & Cultures Workshop for 2014-15.

Teaching Experience:
