Research Interests:

Modernism; the contemporary; reading and representation; crisis; contingency; ordinariness and the everyday; humanism and its outcomes

I completed both my BA and MA in English Literature at the University of Toronto. My current research focuses upon the postwar moment as a lens through which to view the transition from modernism to whatever it is that the contemporary may be, specifically by comparing the different ways in which key modernist texts have been understood, first by their contemporaries and then by postwar readers.
