Rachel Kyne has a BFA in Painting (2005) from Emily Carr University in Vancouver  and an MA in English and Creative Writing (2010) from Concordia University in Montreal, where her thesis was a manuscript of poetry. She has been in a PhD student at UChicago since 2010 and a curatorial intern at the Smart Museum of Art since 2011. She works on British and French modernism, visual culture, and poetics.
