John Wilkinson recently retired to Cambridge, England after a zigzag career which brought him at length to UChicago, as Director of Creative Writing. His recent books of poetry are Wood Circle (The Last Books) and Fugue State (Shearsman). This year he published an absentee memoir, Colours Nailed to the mast (Shearsman).
